1. 2010 John Cooper Works Convertible (R57)

This generation of the JCW Convertible brought serious performance to the MINI line-up. Its 1.6-litre turbocharged engine pushes out 208 hp, matched with sharp handling and a spirited six-speed manual. With upgraded suspension and bold JCW styling, it delivers the purest version of MINI’s go-kart feel—roof down.

2. 2022 Resolute Edition Convertible (F57)

Jumping forward to 2022, the Resolute Edition stands out as the only non-JCW MINI offered in Rebel Green—a colour inspired by the classic Connaught Green of the Austin 1100. It also features distinctive Checkered seats, 18" Pulse Spoke Black alloys, Nappa leather steering wheel, pinstriped details, and plenty of Resolute branding. A modern collectible in the making.

3. 2007 Sidewalk (R52)

The original Sidewalk Edition closed out the R52 generation with style. Sparkling Silver paint—introduced specifically for this edition—became its signature look, beautifully complemented by Malt Brown leather seats. Unique 17" alloys and refined interior touches helped cement its place as one of MINI’s most elegant special editions.

4. 2011 Avenue Package (R57)

A hidden gem from the MINI Yours programme, the Avenue Package was offered for only a brief period and exclusively in Highclass Grey or Laguna Green Metallic. Inside, it featured Satellite Grey Soda Lounge leather and the unusual ‘Soda’ motif on mirror caps and stripes. A rare but memorable trim level.

5. 2021 Shadow Edition (F57)

Launched across the MINI range in 2021, the Shadow Edition brought a darker, stealthier attitude. Finished in Midnight Black metallic with a contrasting Silver roof and mirror caps, it features Piano Black exterior trim and a clean, understated aesthetic. Stylish, modern, and effortlessly cool.

6. 2012 Highgate (R57)

Another lesser-known special edition, the Highgate brought a distinctive chocolate-themed palette. Iced Chocolate metallic paint, a matching soft-top, and brown/black stripes with blue edging set it apart. Inside, Dark Truffle leather with blue piping added luxury, while 17" Double Cross alloys and Chili Pack equipment rounded out the premium spec.

7. 2021 Sidewalk (F57)

MINI revived the Sidewalk name for the F57 generation with even more bespoke details. Deep Laguna metallic paint and an anthracite roof with subtle checkered graphics make it instantly recognisable. The MINI Yours Leather Lounge seats with Petrol Blue and Energetic Yellow stitching, plus Sidewalk-specific trims, give the cabin a vibrant, exclusive feel.

8. 2022 Seaside Edition (F57)

Created to mark 30 years of MINI Convertible models, the Seaside Edition carries a coastal theme throughout. Offered in Caribbean Aqua or Nanuq White, it features double white side stripes, unique ‘30’ motifs, and special Seaside badging. Even the key receives an iridescent wave design—one of the most charming touches MINI has ever added.

9. 2023 Cooper SE Convertible (F57)

The world’s first fully electric convertible car arrived in 2023—and MINI made it a limited-run masterpiece. Just 999 examples were built worldwide, with 150 coming to the UK. Available only in White Silver or Enigmatic Black with Resolute Bronze accents, the SE Convertible set a new benchmark for zero-emission open-top driving.

10. 2025 Convertible John Cooper Works (F67)

Rounding off our list is the latest JCW Convertible, delivering 228 hp from its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and reaching 0–60 mph in 6.2 seconds.
